QUESTION:
I am trying to move students to another class, but I don't see the name of the class to which I would like to move them. What now?
SYMPTOMS:
ANSWER:
If a class is created but no students are put in it, then the class is deleted. Create the class again by clicking New Class List in the Edit Class List utility, and then put at least one student in it.
When using both Larson's Prealgebra and Larson's Algebra 1, students can only be moved between classes in the same course. It is not possible to move students from an Algebra 1 class to a Prealgebra class, or vice-versa. When moving students to a class of a different type, first use the Graduate Class Lists utility to graduate the students from one course to the other.
In Larson's Elementary Math, Larson's Matemáticas Saltarinas, Larson's Intermediate Math, and Larson's Middle School Math, students can only move between classes in the same grade/course.
In Larson's Intermediate Math, to move students between classes in different grades, use the Graduate Class Lists utility to first graduate the students from one grade to another.
Do not make changes in the Classroom Management System when students are logged on to the student program.
For more information about moving students between class lists, refer to the Teacher's Resource Guide. A printed version of the guide is distributed with each product. An electronic version is also available. Use the Documentation menu to learn how to access the electronic version.
