QUESTION:
Why do I receive a message about rebuilding the index while in the Classroom Management System (CMS)?

SYMPTOMS:

A message about rebuilding the index appears while working in the CMS.

ANSWER:
This message indicates that there is a problem with one of the files in the student data folder on the server. Rebuilding the index should correct this problem. To rebuild the index, click Rebuild Index in the menu bar at the top of the screen. In some products, it may be necessary to click Features in the menu bar, and then select Rebuild Index from the list. Click OK in the dialog box that opens.
