QUESTION:
As a teacher, how do I change my password?

ANSWER:
Teachers do not have their own password. The password that is entered to log on to the Classroom Management System (CMS) is the password for the CMS on that particular workstation. The password is stored for that computer, and it applies to anyone who uses the CMS on that computer.

To change the CMS password for a particular computer:

  1. Log on to the CMS with the current password. If the password has never been changed, enter the default password.
  2. Click Change Password in the menu bar at the top of the screen. In some products, it may be necessary to click Features in the menu bar, and then select Change Password from the list.
  3. Fill in the Old Password, New Password, and Confirm New Password fields.
  4. Click OK or Save. If the password is changed on a shared computer, any teachers who wish to use the CMS on that computer will need to know the password.

For more information about changing the CMS password, refer to the Teacher's Resource Guide. A printed version of the guide is distributed with each product. An electronic version is also available. Use the Documentation menu to learn how to access the electronic version.
