QUESTION:
I already have Larson software installed on my server. Should I install my new Larson software title to the same program folder on the server?
ANSWER:
When a Larson program is installed to the server, a folder is created to hold all of the program files. The folder is named with the product name. There should be a folder like this for each Larson program that has already been installed to the server.
Do not install new Larson softwware into the program folder of another Larson program. For example, if Larson's Intermediate Math has already been installed and now Larson's Elementary Math is being installed, do not install Larson's Elementary Math inside the "Larson Intermediate Math" folder on the server. A new folder will be created for the new program with the new program's name.
It is acceptable, however, to install multiple Larson's products to one sharepoint. For example, if there is a shared folder called "Larson" on the server and the existing product is installed inside the "Larson" folder, it is fine to install the new product to the "Larson" folder as well.
