QUESTION:
Why does the audio stop before the instructions are finished?

Why does the audio skip?

Why don't I hear any sound when using the program?

SYMPTOMS:

• The audio stops before it is finished.
• The audio skips.
• The audio cannot be heard.

ANSWER:
Generally, audio issues occur on computers running an older version of a program on a newer operating system. To fix this issue, try one of the following:

• Turn down the hardware acceleration on the computer.
  1. In the Control Panel, click on Sounds and Audio Devices.
  2. Click on the Audio tab.
  3. Under the section titled Sound playback, click Advanced.
  4. Click on the Performance tab.
  5. You should now see a slider for Hardware acceleration.
  6. Move the Hardware acceleration slider to the leftmost position (None).
  7. Click OK.
• Update the sound drivers for the computer. For more information on updating sound drivers, visit the computer manufacturer's website.
• Upgrade to the latest version of the program.
