QUESTION:
How do I edit a student's name?

ANSWER:
Student names cannot be edited. Instead, delete the student with the incorrect name and then create a new student with the correct name. It is important to remember that deleting a student record removes the student data as well. If the student has made substantial progress, edit the student progress of the new student name to match the progress of the old student name. Do not make changes in the Classroom Management System when students are logged on to the student program.

For more information about creating new students and updating student progress, refer to the Teacher's Resource Guide. A printed version of the guide is distributed with each product. An electronic version is also available. Use the Documentation menu to learn how to access the electronic version.
