SYMPTOM:

RESOLUTION:
This error is caused if users do not have enough permissions to the "MCGTI83.ini" file. The file is located at "C:\WINDOWS\MCGTI83.ini" ("C:\WINNT\MCGTI83.ini" on Windows® NT workstations). To determine if this is the cause, log on to the workstation as an administrative user and try to launch the emulator. If the error does not occur, ask your network administrator to give other users read/write permissions to the "MCGTI83.ini" file.
